About Fletcher

Through my photography I show nature in a fresh way; purposefully leaving out traces of mankind. I photograph moments of tranquility and amazement in natural subjects to communicate the richness of our world. The visual impression created evokes wonder even if the place is familiar. For me, these images facilitate a connection to nature’s beauty and perfection.

As an artist, my creativity has taken many forms over the years. I built things with wood, metal and clay before ever intending to produce art. This turned into an undeniable interest and I began taking sculpture classes. I also studied other disciplines of art, but focused mainly on creating three dimensional forms until I purchased my first camera in 2003. I shot casually for a couple of months before starting my concentration in photography at college.

I have always loved the outdoors and quickly gravitated towards making images of the natural landscape.
